Born in Poland in 1968, Klaudia Kampa grew up in Germany and Luxembourg, where she qualified as a potter-ceramist. She studied art at the Ecole des Arts-Décoratifs in Strasbourg, France. She lived and worked in Luxembourg, Germany and Switzerland before moving to England. Today, Klaudia Kampa lives in the UK, near London.
Her work has been shown in Luxembourg, Brussels, New York, Strasbourg, Hanover, Stuttgart, London and Zürich, and has appeared in magazines such as Wallpaper and Elle.
Klaudia Kampa has also been active in the fields of design and interior architecture. Between 2000 and 2003, she held a full-time position as Art Director of Stylepark AG in Frankfurt, creating a series of award-winning "Lebenswelten", or virtual lifestyle worlds. She now serves as part-time Editor Design & Interiors of Architonic AG, a leading online database for products, materials and concepts in architecture and design of which she is a co-founder.
In Luxembourg, Klaudia Kampa has illustrated four children's books and is currently working on a fifth.
